Time to arrive at yourself...

Seven sequences to discover and work on stress factors that we all carry within us:

  1. Forgetfulness and absent-mindedness
  2. Jumpiness and anxiety
  3. Self-doubt and over-worry
  4. Over-activity and loss of control
  5. Addictions and somatic complaints
  6. Compulsions and fears of action
  7. Thought circles and compulsive thinking

Structure

From week to week there is a new small exercise that fits easily into everyday life and workplace routines. The small exercises are simple and yet essential components of self-determined chains of decisions and actions. Even though we emphasise one theme from week to week, all are included in each exercise.

  1. Don't forget to do what you set out to do,
  2. Do it as planned, but not perfectionistically,
  3. Not only going into action, but conversely also noticing what I am doing,
  4. Don't fall into habits, but see if what I'm doing suits me.
  5. Skilfully refrain from doing something else that I cannot do at that time.
  6. Deciding when and how I do things, and being able to deal constructively with resistance.
  7. Being satisfied with how it turned out and bringing good energy into the team.

Results

Many participants of previous evaluations report deep and powerful experiences. The exercises generate calmness, self-confidence and joy of life. You too will soon notice that you:

  • become more aware of yourself,
  • have more fun at work,
  • enjoy new experiences,
  • are less forgetful,
  • more at ease with life,
  • experience more security within yourself,
  • arrive at yourself.

The eight-week course is scientifically accompanied and evaluated by the Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, IKIM, of the University of Bern. The results will be made available to the participating companies after publication.

Time required

  • Nine 30- or 45-minute online meetings, which are attended live once a week.
  • Duration and time (during working hours or free time) depend on the setting agreed with the company.
  • Once a day there will be a video with a 3-minute movement exercise, which you should definitely do.
  • The practical exercise can be incorporated into your daily routine without spending time (exception week two with a handwriting exercise).

Documentation

  • Recordings of the meeting within 12h, if you can't be present sometimes.
  • Description of the exercise as text and video on PC and mobile phone.
  • Demonstration of the 3-minute movement exercise as a video to follow on PC and mobile phone.
  • Written course dossier with all texts to print out.

Timing

We offer two fixed groups for the research project, where your employees can also get to know each other and exchange ideas.

  • Mondays from 2 October to 27 November 2023 from 5:15 pm to 5:55 pm GMT Time zones
