Marie Steiner was an actress, speech artist, Rudolf Steiner’s artistic companion and a co-founder of Eurythmy. Behind her public work stands a deeply moving biography: childhood between Poland and Russia, artistic searching in Paris, inner crises, great spiritual ideals and dramatic conflicts after Rudolf Steiner’s death.

During this evening, we would like to approach Marie Steiner from a human and biographical perspective — not as a distant figure of the past, but as a personality whose life still raises questions today.
